Oriol believes that Rossi will be a star in Catalunya if he finally gets his dream transfer to European Kings Barcelona.
Giuseppe Rossi has been linked to Barcelona so many times over the past few weeks with reports claiming that a €30 million deal is already in place to bring him to the Nou Camp. However, Villareal claimed that they have not received any offers for him.
Now, Oriol has admitted that it's looking very likely for Rossi to leave El Madrigal this summer and Barcelona is apparently his dream destination.
"Rossi wants to go to Barcelona. He hopes [that] everything goes well and that he will be wearing the Azulgrana colours next season.
"Rossi could bring plenty to Barcelona, quality, experience and youth. He is a player who fits the Barcelona profile. I think he is the best player they can sign.
"He would easily adapt there and he would take on the competition well at Barcelona. He knows the risks of moving there.
Speculations are rising that Bojan Krkic could be offered in an exchange deal for Rossi and Oriol is absolutely open to that possibility.
"He [Bojan] is a great footballer, the promise of Spanish football and we would welcome him with open arms," added the goalkeeper.
