Portuguese defender Ricardo Carvalho has been ruled out of their clash against Norway tomorrow after he aggravated a back-injury
Ricardo Carvalho will not feature for Portugal when they host Norway in their Euro 2012 Qualifying match at Lisbon tomorrow. The Real Madrid defender was already struggling with a pain in his lower back after picking it up during training last week.

Subsequently, the rumor was confirmed by Paulo Bento in a statement directed towards fans. Nevertheless, Bento stressed that his absence will not affect their tactics tomorrow.

"The absence of Carvalho will not alter our strategy, it's just less of an option for us. It will not change anything for us," Bento told the Portugal Football Federation's official website.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to lead Portugal's line-up against Norway tomorrow knowing that a win could take them to the summit of Group H.
