Dani Alves is predicting a masterclass battle at Wembley when Manchester United take on Barcelona in the Champions League final.
This coming weekend will witness two of the best teams in Europe battle it out for Champions League glory. However, both sides are familiar to each other, having met at the same stage of the competition in 2009, with Barca triumphing at the end of the day. Nevertheless, Dani Alves believes that a classic encounter can still be expected this time around.

"I imagine that both sides will play a very open game, because they’re both teams that like to play football - that try and create chances and attack from the off.

"I’m sure it’s going to be a great spectacle because, at the end of the day, that’s what you expect from a meeting of Europe’s two best teams.

"

Dani Alves has been one of Barca's most consistent performers over the past few years and the Brazilian fullback was confident of his place on Guardiola's team sheet.

"I do believe that I’m an important part of our playing system. It’s clearly hard for anyone to stand out in a squad that has so many star names, which is why I’m so happy to have that opportunity."
