Edin Dzeko is all fired up for the FA Cup final this weekend after he stated that he wants to help City end their trophy drought
Manchester City have lived in the shadows of Manchester United for a very long time now and the Citizens have not experienced cup success for almost 35 years now. However, Roberto Mancini's side have a chance to end that barren spell this weekend when they take on Stoke City in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

City's January signing, Edin Dzeko might not have impressed many with his performances so far but the Bosnian striker is absolutely ecstatic ahead of the final clash with Stoke City after he insisted that he is very much motivated to help Manchester City win the FA Cup on Sunday.

Old Trafford is the home to a banner that mocks City's trophy drought and Dzeko is keen to help remove the banner by the end of this week.

He said: "I have heard about the banner. We want to change history and win something after a long time. I hope we will.

Dzeko has hardly found the net since arriving from a big-money move from Wolfsburg but the flamboyant striker is adamant that there is more to come from him next season.

"I know I can play much better. But it is only the first few months. I want to be ready for pre-season and next year I think everything will be okay."
