It's set to be a David vs Goliath match-up when Ligue 2 side Caen welcome PSG on February 10, 2021.

Preview: Caen vs PSG

Hosts Caen have not been in good form in Ligue 2, and currently sit in 11th place. That doesn't bode well for Pascal Dupraz's men, who have failed to win their last eight league matches. Although they earned a narrow 1-0 win over Guingamp to book their spot here, their Coupe de France tournament looks set to come to a swift end when PSG come to town.

Meanwhile, their visitors just so happen to be the most decorated side in this competition. PSG are aiming to win a record-setting 14th Coupe de France title, and have started to roar to life under new coach Mauricio Pochettino's tenure. Les Parisiens have won four of their last five games, with the only blemish being a surprise loss to Lorient, and come into this match having beaten Marseille 2-0 in last weekend's Classique clash to remain in third spot behind Lille and Lyon.

Having won five of the last six versions of this competition, it goes without saying that PSG are the heavy favorites to progress. Of course, there have been plenty of surprises in the Coupe de France, but the last time the two sides met, the capital giants ended the minnows' dreams in the semi-finals.

Both teams will come into this tie with some injuries and suspensions for each manager to consider as he selects his strongest starting XI. PSG have been battling injury issues with key personnel all season, and this time around, Pochettino will be missing players like Keylor Navas, Ander Herrera, and Angel Di Maria. As for Caen, they'll have to make do without the services of Jessy Deminguet and Nicolas Gioacchini due to a ban while there are several other players still on the treatment table.
