Saturday's clash between Juventus and Roma could feature a very fascinating derby starring two players.

This weekend, Serie A fans could potentially see a very interesting derby unfold when Scudetto holders Juventus welcome Roma on Saturday, February 6th. Currently, just one point separates the high-flying Giallorossi, who sit in third, from the recently resurgent Bianconeri, who rest in fourth – meaning that this game could really shake things up in the league standings.

Any match featuring Juventus and Roma is always one to watch as the rivalry between the two sides intensified in the 1980s and hasn't abated since. La Vecchia Signora and the Lupi have already met up this season, with their matchday two clash finishing as a two-all draw at the Stadio Olimpico thanks to Portuguese ace Cristiano Ronaldo restoring parity twice to balance out a brace from French midfielder Jordan Veretout.

So, what's this derby about? Well, earlier this week, Roma signed 19-year-old defender Bryan Reynolds on a deal worth up to €7.5 million if the capital-based club decide to make his loan deal permanent. Reynolds, who hails from Texas and previously was on the books at FC Dallas, is now the eighth American to play in Serie A, and the second acquired by Roma following Michael Bradley's tenure from 2012 to 2014. Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the pitch will be fellow Texan Weston McKennie, who made history earlier this season by becoming the first American international to sign for Juventus.

The 22-year-old, who is presently with the Turin giants on a one year loan deal from Schalke, has firmly established himself in the starting XI for Andrea Pirlo and will likely feature in Saturday's big clash. Although Reynolds just arrived in the Eternal City, it's certainly possible he could be given some game-time in Saturday's match, which will mark the first time two American internationals have been on the pitch at the same time in Serie A – so many USA based fans surely won't want to miss out on this one.

McKennie is the first ever American international to sign for Juventus in the club's history...

...while Reynolds is the second American to play for Roma and the eighth USA international overall to feature in Italy's top flight
