The U.S. Women’s National Team defeated Colombia in the second of two international friendlies between the two nations 6-0 on Friday, becoming the most-watched soccer game on U.S. TV from Tuesday, Jan. 19, through Monday, Jan. 25, with 317,000 average viewers on ESPN2.

The game saw 21-year-old Catarina Macario score her first goal with the USWNT in her full game debut. Macario will now start her professional club career with European champions Olympique Lyonnais. Also, Megan Rapinoe bagged a couple of goals in the first half of the game to take her all-time senior team goal tally to 52 goals in 168 appearances. Another historic night for the Stars and Stripes while topping the viewership ratings in the U.S. TV.

NBC Sports Network's English Premier League broadcast of Leicester City and Chelsea on Tuesday, Jan. 19, was the second most-watched game o U.S. TV. The game, which Leicester City won 2-0 and ultimately cost Frank Lampard his job, received the best viewership rating – 0.19 – and had an average of 314,000 viewers. The most notable Premier League broadcast after Leicester and Chelsea's was Burnley shattering Liverpool's 68-game unbeaten run at Anfield on Thursday. The game received a 0.17 viewership rating and had 265,000 average viewers. Also, two more NBCSN Premier League broadcasts made it to Showbuzzdaily's top 150 cable originals and network finals, amassing a total of 975,000 average viewers for the four games.

The third most-watched game on U.S. TV was Liga MX's Atletico San Luis' 3-1 win over Chivas Guadalajara on TUDN. The match was played on Thursday and received a 0.13 viewership rating with an average of 295,000 people tuning into the broadcast. Six other Liga MX Clausura games were screened by TUDN, reaching a total of 1,676,000 average viewers. While TUDN did not register a broadcast in the No. 1 or 2 positions, the channel had the most viewer traffic.

Lastly, three beIN Sport Español broadcast of La Liga fixtures made it to the Showbuzzdaily's top 150 cable originals and network finals charts. The most successful one of the three was Real Madrid's 4-1 away win at Alaves, reaching a mere 131,000 average viewers.
