The Portuguese superstar inspired the Bianconeri to yet another victory as he marked an appearance milestone.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored two late penalties on his 100th appearance for Juventus in all competitions to extend his record as the player with the most goals in 2020 as his side cruised to victory against Genoa on Sunday. The 35-year-old stole the spotlight as the Bianconeri climbed to fourth on the table and extended their unbeaten run in the Serie A to 11 with the night's 3-1 win.

After being kept at bay in the first half, Andre Pirlo's men were finally able to break down Genoa's resolute defence through Paulo Dybala in the 57th minute. Four minutes later, former Juve striker Stefano Sturaro got the equalizer for the hosts, thanks to an assist from Pellegrini.

Then came Cristiano Ronaldo's moment, with the Portuguese international scoring the first of Juventus' two spot-kicks in the 78th minute after Juan Cuadrado was brought down in the Genoa box. Having converted two penalties in the mid-week's Champions League triumph over Barcelona at the Camp Nou, the former Real Madrid star doubled Juve's advantage with yet another penalty goal.

In essence, Ronaldo - whose goal tally in all competitions this season stands at 13 - has registered 79 goals and 17 assists in his 100 appearances for Juventus in all competitions. The 35-year-old forward has now ranks as the player with the most goals in all competitions (42) and most league goals (31) in 2020.
