After concluding their Champions League group stage campaign, Chelsea will now turn their attention back towards domestic affairs as they travel to face Everton. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides team news, worldwide broadcast listings, and key match stats for Everton vs Chelsea.

Preview: Everton vs Chelsea

Once on top of the Premier League table after an impressive start, Everton have now slid back down into mid-table. However, that's hardly surprising, as many didn't expect the Toffees to be able to keep pace with the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, and Chelsea for long, but they are still ahead of 15th-placed Arsenal, so that's certainly something that Carlo Ancelotti's side should be proud of.

Currently in ninth spot on 17 points, Everton are also only a point behind Manchester City and two behind Manchester United, who will be featuring in the highly anticipated Manchester Derby earlier on Saturday, but have not been in the best of form over the past few months.

Interestingly enough, in October, the hosts were actually ahead of Chelsea in the league table thanks to a perfect start to the season in which they had picked up 12 points from their first four games. Yet, since then, it's been a downward slide for Ancelotti's troops, who have only won one of their last seven fixtures, while losing four times during that run.

They come into this game having drawn with Burnley, which at least meant that they didn't end up losing four of their most recent five games, but they will be desperate to avoid losing at Goodison Park after losing their last two games at this ground to Manchester United and Leeds United. If they do lose on Saturday, it will be the first time they've lost three in a row here in over four years (since March 2016), and for Ancelotti, it will be the first time he's lost three in a row on home turf in ten years in his managerial career.

Unfortunately for Ancelotti and Everton, the thing they're trying to avoid may come true in this match, as Chelsea have been in fantastic form as of late. The Blues come into this match having won four of their last five Premier League games, and are unbeaten in their last 14 matches across all competitions. In addition, the London giants have won their last five away fixtures in all competitions and despite Everton winning their last two home games against the Blues, this could be a much trickier tie for the hosts this time around.

Meanwhile, key playmaker James Rodriguez will be out for this tie as a result of a calf problem following his team's draw with Burnley last weekend.

Chelsea: Both Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi will miss the trip to Goodison Park due to hamstring injuries.
