With a 1-0 home loss to Bordeaux last Friday, Rennes now come into their upcoming Champions League clash with Chelsea having lost five of their last six matches across all competitions. Rennes will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight defeat when Chelesa come to town, but it's an opposite story for Frank Lampard's side, who eventually overcame Newcastle United last weekend to make it five straight wins in all competitions. The Blues not only will be seeking to make it a sixth straight victory, but also will be hoping to do so without conceding a goal. So far, they have scored seven times and conceded zero - and are only one of two teams to boast this impressive record. The other side? Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool.

Rennes: Dalbert Henrique is suspended after being sent off in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge, while Daniele Rugani is out injured.

Chelsea: Both Kai Havertz and Thiago Silva are back in the squad after recovering from COVID-19 and fatigue respectively, but it remains to be seen how they will be involved in this game. However, although Christian Pulisic should be able to face Tottenham in this weekend's big game, the American star won't be fit in time for this upcoming tie.
