Monaco vs PSG is live in 99 countries on November 20, 2020: here's how to watch it

November 20, 2020 By Michelle Bonsu
Following the international hiatus, PSG will look to further extend their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table as they travel to face Monaco. Live Soccer TV's preview provides team news, key match stats as well as global broadcast listings for Monaco vs PSG.

Preview: Monaco vs PSG

After a horror show in October that saw them fail to win a single match, Monaco appear to have now turned a corner under new coach Niko Kovac. The hosts come into this game sitting in sixth spot, and more important, have won two games on the trot ahead of PSG's arrival at their home ground this Friday. A win for Les Rouges-et-Blancs could see them temporarily jump to second in the table as things are quite congested right now, but they will be welcoming a team who have fully hit their stride and have won their last eight Ligue 1 games.

That's despite PSG facing a growing injury list and not faring so well in their Champions League campaign. Next up for Les Parisiens is a crunch clash with RB Leipzig next week, and Thomas Tuchel will go into that game knowing that his side must win that match if they want to have a solid chance at getting out of their quartet - as they've already lost to the German side and Manchester United so far. To complicate matters, the latest international interruption has caused further problems for his already injury-ravaged side, and he will have to field a modified team for this upcoming tie.

However, given PSG's excellent record against Monaco - they've only lost one of their last 11 meetings across all competitions - they still do look like the heavy favorites to come out on top here. That being said, if there's any time that Monaco do have a shot at ending their bad run against PSG, this certainly could be it. Les Parisiens are dealing with a lot of injuries at the moment, and will be already thinking about their upcoming clash with Leipzig next week - so Kovac's side could use that, coupled with the fact that they're playing at home (where they're unbeaten in their last eight) to their advantage. Whether they are able to fully utilize that or not is another question entirely, of course.

Team news: Monaco vs PSG

Monaco: Skipper and top goalscorer Wissam Ben Yedder's absence due to COVID-19 is a huge blow for the hosts, who have managed to recover well after nightmare spell in October. In addition, they'll have to make do without Rubén Aguilar due to suspension, while Benjamin Lecomte is out until next year with a broken hand. Russian international Aleksandr Golovin is also another absentee, while French midfielder Fode Ballo-Toure could be in doubt here.

PSG: Marquinhos, Leandro Paredes and Angel Di Maria are all in major doubt as they will only arrive back from South America just 48 hours prior to this match, so if they do get involved at all it will not be in the starting XI. Neymar has been included in the squad despite suffering a knock on international duty, and it remains to be seen if he's involved at all in this match. Meanwhile, Pablo Sarabia, Idrissa Gueye, Julian Draxler, Juan Bernat, Ander Herrera, Thilo Kehrer, Marco Verratti, and Mauro Icardi are among those who are still on the injury list for Tuchel's side.
