Young American players kept making their mark in Europe last week. From Matt Miazga helping Anderlecht to a clean sheet in a 1-0 win against then league leaders Royal Antwerp, to Josh Sargent scoring his first Bundesliga goal of the season.

Look at what Christian Pulisic and company have been up to in some of Europe's top leagues, including the UEFA Champions League.

Weston McKennie – Juventus 

Central midfielder Weston McKennie returned to the pitch after testing positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday. He played the last 15 minutes of Juventus' 2-0 loss to Barcelona. But on Sunday, the American played a left midfielder role and dished out an assist to Alvaro Morata to open the scoring against Spezia Calcio. 

McKennie is proving to be one of Andrea Pirlo's most reliable players. The Litte Elm, Texas native has helped Juventus to seven points in three Serie A games; more than what the team achieved during his absence – five points after three games.

Josh Sargent – Werder Bremen

Twenty-year-old Josh Sargent scored his first Bundesliga goal of the season to help Werder Bremen earn a point against Eintracht Frankfurt after a 1-1 draw. The forward had not gotten involved in a goal since Sept. 26 when he notched an assist against Shalke in a 3-1 win.

Just last week, Sargent expressed his frustrations after 1-1 draw to Hoffenheim in terms of his team's ability to score. This time around, he will be a bit happier with the result, having scored a goal. 

Christian Pulisic – Chelsea

Pulisic enjoyed the final moments of Chelsea's 4-0 win over Russian side FC Krasnodar on Wednesday, scoring his fifth career Champions League goal. He played the last 19 minutes of the game and he also drew a penalty, doubling his goal contributions.

Frank Lampard had Pulisic in his first Xl for a Premier League fixture against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday. However, the forward picked up a small injury during the pre-game training. As a result, Lampard was forced to omit Pulisic from the squad. Not a bad decision, given that he just came back from a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for seven games.

It is a shame that he did not play because he scored his first Premier League hat-trick against Burnley last season.

Antonee Robinson – Fulham 

Antonee Robinson was key in Fulham's 2-0 win at home against West Brom on Monday. His involvement in the first goal helped The Cottagers to their first Premier League win and second clean sheet. 

Reggie Cannon – Boavista 

Full-back Reggie Cannon helped Boavista to their first Primer Liga win of the season against then league leaders Benfica. The game finished 3-0 with former Houston Dynamo forward Alberth Ellis scoring the second goal. This clean sheet will go down in history as Cannon's first in European soccer.

Matt Miazga – RSC Anderlecht

Center back Matt Miazga helped Anderlecht to a clean sheet in a 1-0 win against then first place Royal Antwerp. Anderlecht is now two points away from first place. 

Giovanni Reyna – Borussia Dortmund 

Seventeen-year-old Giovanni Reyna played 84 minutes in a 2-0 win over Zenit St. Petersburg on Wednesday. And on Saturday, he played the last 15 minutes of a Dortmund 2-0 win over Arminia Bielefeld.

Sergiño Dest – Barcelona 

Nineteen-year-old Sergiño Dest did not get any Champions League minutes last week in Barcelona's 2-0 win over a Ronaldo-less Juventus. However, he did play 21 La Liga Santander minutes against Deportivo Alavés at the weekend.

Tyler Adams – RB Leipzig

Tyler Adams suffered a knee injury to his lateral ligament in training on Oct. 21 and missed out on the Champions League fixture against Manchester United on Wednesday, which ended in a 5-0 defeat for RB Leipzig. In addition, Leipzig lost to Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 on Saturday. It's safe to say that Leipzig might be missing their American stud in the midfield.

The injury is just precautionary, according to Roger Gonzalez from CBS Sports

Lynden Gooch - Sunderland

Twenty-four-year-old Lynden Gooch scores nothing but screamers. He scored his second goal of the season by outrunning the whole Gillingham squad and tucking the ball away. Gooch has two goals and three assists in 10 games.

Chris Richards – Bayern Munich II

Center back Chris Richards dished out an assist in a 4-2 win over 3. Liga side Wehen Wiesbaden with FC Bayern ll on Sunday. Bayern Munich can call-up the 20-year-old FC Dallas Academy product.

Timothy Weah – LOSC Lille 

Timothy Weah played 8 minutes of a 2-2 draw between Lille and Celtic in a Europa League match on Thursday. The forward has only played 30 minutes over four Ligue 1 matches and 18 minutes of Europa League this season. 

Konrad de la Fuente – Barcelona

Nineteen-year-old Konrad de la Fuente returned to Barcelona's first team in their trip to the Basque Country to face Deportivo Alaves and for the third time in this La Liga season, he was kept as an unused substitute. He has yet to play his first minutes of top-flight soccer in Spain. However, he played 90 minutes in Barcelona B's game against AE Prat.

Christian Cappis – Hobro IK

Central midfielder Christian Cappis played a full 90 minutes in a 4-0 loss to Fremad Amager in second -tier Danish football.

Zach Steffen – Manchester City

Manchester City's second-choice goalkeeper Zach Steffen did not play this weekend as Ederson is fit to play. Steffen will start for Man City if Ederson picks up another injury. If not, he will be set to start on Dec. 22 in the EFL Cup quarterfinals against Arsenal.

Ethan Horvath – Club Brugge 

Goalkeeper Ethan Horvath is back to being Brugge's No. 2 after the return of Simon Mignolet. However, Club Brugge manager Philippe Clement now knows that he can count on Horvath whenever his service is needed.

Ulysses Llanez – SC Heerenveen 

Ulysses Llanez remained as an unused sub during Heerenveen's 4-1 win over Sparta Rotterdam.
