It may not be the same without Lionel Messi, but life in La Liga must go on with or without the Argentine star, and execs of the Spanish top-flight have already revealed the dates in which El Clásico will be held in the 2020-21 season.

The draw to determine this season's calendar dropped some interesting games for the first weekend of action, such as the Valencian derby. Nevertheless, the world was mostly interested in marking their calendars with the dates in which Barcelona and Real Madrid will lock horns. 

The league went on to reveal the dates with a similar format as the one implemented in the past two seasons.

All action in La Liga will kick off on September 12, with the game between Valencia and Levante stealing most headlines. The games featuring Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atlético, will be postponed due to their involvement in European competitions.

The league also revealed the dates for this season's Madrid derbies.
