Inter will look to win their first European trophy since 2010, but they will have to find a way past serial Europa League winners Sevilla. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides match facts, team news, and global broadcast listings for the 2020 UEFA Europa League final featuring Sevilla vs Inter.

Preview: Sevilla vs Inter

After a long wait, the 2020 UEFA Europa League final will finally get underway this Friday. On one side will be Sevilla. That's really not a surprise, as the Spanish outfit have made this tournament their home since the start of this millennium. Since 2006, they have won five Europa League titles and featured in six finals. No team have won more times in this competition than Los Rojiblancos, who notably won three times in a row between 2014 and 2016. In fact, many started to suspect that they would deliberately seek to finish in third spot each time they qualified for the Champions League group stages to ensure they could drop down to the Europa League where they were more comfortable and guaranteed to win a trophy.

Whether that's actually true or not is subject to debate, but between 2006 and 2016, they won five titles - something that had never been achieved - and now will be looking to make it a sixth trophy on Friday. In terms of experience, Julen Lopetegui's team are the favorites here, as this will be their seventh final and they come into this match having knocked out Manchester United after coming from behind to secure a 2-1 victory.

However, their upcoming opponents, Inter, have been in outstanding form since dropping down into the Europa League. The Nerazzurri, who narrowly missed out on winning the Scudetto this season by one point, crushed Eastern European outfit Shakhtar 5-0 in their last match to book their spot in their first European final since winning the Champions League in 2010. They come into this game having won all five of their Europa League matches, knocking out Bayer Leverkusen after a hard-fought 2-1 win in the quarter-finals, another Spanish side, Getafe, following a 2-0 victory in the round of 16, and dispatched Eastern European minnows Ludogorets 4-1 on aggregate in the round of 32 without much fuss.

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has been in imperious form alongside Argentinian international Lautaro Martinez; the duo have scored six and two goals in this competition respectively. Both were on target as Inter ran rampant against a hapless Shakhtar earlier this week, and both will be hoping to add more to their respective tallies on Friday evening. Lukaku has netted in his past ten straight Europa League appearances and one would be quite unwise to bet against him finding the back of the net against Sevilla on Friday, despite the Spaniards looking like the  favorites on paper thanks to their experience in this competition.

Team news: Sevilla vs Inter

Sevilla: No injuries or suspensions for the Spanish side ahead of Friday's final.

Inter: Matias Vecino is still out with a knee injury, while new signing Achraf Hakimi is not eligible to play until the upcoming 2020/2021 season. Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez, who recently completed a permanent transfer to the Nerazzurri is in doubt for this game due to a muscular problem - although he made the bench for the team's 5-0 thrashing of Shahktar in the semi-finals.
