The Blaugrana side revealed that all players currently in Lisbon have tested negative to a new test hours ahead of the game.

In the hours prior to the game between Barcelona and Bayern München, the Blaugrana side has once again taken the world by surprise by announcing a second positive test for COVID-19.

The team informed last Wednesday that Jean-Clair Todibo had tested positive for the disease when he reported back with the club for pre-season training. But this time, the player in question has been in contact with the first team, although he did not make the trip to Lisbon due to an injury. The player in question is none other than Samuel Umtiti.

According to the Blaugrana side, the French defender tested positive on Thursday, and he has remained quarantined at home since he knew the result. In what should be taken as good news, the player is asymptomatic at the moment.

In order to prevent any further problems, the entire Blaugrana expedition at Lisbon has been subject to new PCR tests. Reports by the team's medical staff state that every player included in the squad that will face Bayern has tested negative for COVID-19.
