The manager of the Blues has advised his players on how to approach the weekend's cup final.

Chelsea headcoach Frank Lampard has revealed what his side must do in order to get the win over Arsenal in Saturday's FA Cup final tie. The 42-year-old English manager stated that his players must put themselves under pressure to secure victory as the stakes are higher for the Gunners.

After securing Champions League football for next season by finishing fourth in the just-ended Premier League, Chelsea will hope to clinch their first-ever title under Frank Lampard. The Stamford Bridge outfit overcame the threat of Manchester United in their penultimate outing to set-up the upcoming tie with the London rivals.

For Arsenal, the hope of playing in Europe solely lies in their performance against Chelsea on Saturday. Mikel Arteta's men, following an underwhelming campaign in the Premier League, had to settle for the eighth position, failing to seal a place in the Europa League for next season.

With all the stakes being extremely high for the Emirates Stadium outfit, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has stated that his side intends to leave no stone unturned against their cross-town neighbours. Addressing the game on BBC Football Focus, the former England midfielder said: "I've heard how there's more on this game for Arsenal, and that idea worries me. "We must put ourselves under pressure. This is a huge game for Chelsea.

"It worries me that we as a club, as a team, think we achieved something last week by finishing in the top four.

"We are happy with that but that's gone now. We don't consider what it means for Arsenal - we want to win the match.

"I've been in this game a fairly short time but I've played for many years and I know what I want the feeling to be around a final. It needs to be pressured; we need to be on edge. We cannot cruise into a final. You lose them that way.

"The feeling of losing as a manager is worse than as a player because you take on more responsibility - but the feeling of winning is better."
