Speaking in a podcast, Kroos admitted that the Welshman's situation is not ideal for anyone inside the locker room.

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos came out to reveal the real reasons why Gareth Bale's relationship with both the club's hierarchy and coach Zinedine Zidane is frostier than ever, hinting that the Welshman's future at the club could come to an end in the near future.

Speaking as a guest in the German podcast Lauschangriff, Kroos revealed the moment when things went sour between the club and Bale.

"I believe that he had agreed his departure last summer and the club had given its OK, but in the end they said no. I don't know if he is still mad about that, but I'd lie to you if I said it is not a hard subject to talk about," Kroos stated.

Then, Kroos went on to discuss how the squad has reacted to Bale's status as a sub.

"Actually, his situation is hard to deal with for everyone. The club surely did not sign Bale to play as little time as he's doing. We shouldn't think that much about it, everyone in the team is happy and Bale helped us win quite a few things over the past six years," Kroos concluded.

The Welsh ace may be ready to leave the club after being left out of the last six games played by Real Madrid. In fact, the footballer was not even included in the squad that played the last game of the season.
