After 16 years away from the spotlight, Leeds United will go back to the Premier League. The historic team will return to the English top-flight thanks to Marcelo Bielsa's guidance, and fans were sure to let the boss know how thankful they are of his impressive work.
Bielsa became a fan-favorite even after an alleged spying scandal last season, but during this campaign, the tactician did not need that sort of antics to lead the club to a first-place finish in the Championship to earn the promotion.
With two games left, and following West Brom's 2-1 loss to Huddersfield earlier today, Leeds' promotion in first place was secured. Fans decided to celebrate with the boss, and in quite a curious gesture, they decided to wait for the coach at his home to congratulate him.
A happy Bielsa descended from his car and greeted fans close to him with an elbow salute, and even if he wanted to say more, his poor English-speaking skills left fans with a short but heartfelt message by the former Argentina boss.
Have a look at the moment caught by one fan with his smartphone.
