The French tactician only needs four more titles to improve the tally reached by Pep Guardiola at Barcelona.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane did it again. Almost 15 months after taking over as the team's coach for a second stint, the French tactician won his second La Liga title with Los Blancos. Moreover, he has also turned into one of the most successful coaches in football history, only trailing Pep Guardiola when it comes to titles won with the same team.

The French boss won his eleventh title at La Casa Blanca, and now, he needs four more titles to match the feat accomplished by Pep Guardiola during his first four years at Camp Nou. Guardiola won 14 titles since he joined Los Culés in 2008 until 2012, and Zidane has won eleven since January 2016...with a ten-month break in-between.

Here's how Zidane and Guardiola's numbers compare to those of some legendary coaches.

Zidane's records at Real Madrid also have him close to becoming the most successful coach in team history, and he has done so in less time than Miguel Muñoz, the legendary coach that led Los Blancos during their historic 1950s decade. If that was not enough reason to praise Zizou, here's a stat that will surely blow your mind.

"STAT ALERT: Zidane has won eleven titles (including two leagues and three Champions League trophies) in 209 competitive games as Real Madrid coach. That's a whopping average of one title every 19 games. Out of this world!"

Speaking right after the title was confirmed, Zidane admitted that, to him, winning the league title is even better than winning a UEFA Champions League.

"It's a tremendous feeling, because what the players did is impressive. Winning the Champions is great, but winning a league is a reward for being consistent. Hence, I enjoy winning La Liga even more. To win La Liga is something else," Zidane stated.
