Manchester United have been paired with Chelsea for the semifinal of this season's FA Cup at Wembley with Arsenal set to take on Manchester City. The draw for the single-leg encounter was concluded on Sunday evening after the occupants of the three of the four available slots had been determined.
On Saturday, a late goal by Harry Maguire sealed qualification for United after Todd Cantwell forced the quarterfinal clash into extra-time by equalizing Odion Ighalo's opener. Arsenal featured in the first of the three remaining games with Sheffield United and the Gunners sealed progression thanks to a 2-1 victory.
In the second game of the afternoon, Ross Barkley's 63rd-minute strike condemned Leicester City to defeat as Chelsea secured their spot in the last four. Manchester City completed the quartet by registering a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United at the St James' Park. Goals by Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling sealed the qualification.

For Chelsea, the upcoming clash will present the opportunity to finally avenge three defeats recorded against Manchester United this season. The Blues fell to back-to-back defeats in the Premier League against the Red Devils, losing 4-0 on opening day at Old Trafford and 2-0 at the Stamford Bridge in the reverse fixture. In-between, they were eliminated from the EFL Cup via a 2-1 home defeat.
Relatively, Arsenal will aim to avenge the two 3-0 defeats recorded against Manchester City this season. The Gunners are without a win against the former Premier League holders in their last seven meetings, with the FA Cup semifinal triumph in 2017 being their last.
