Jose Mourinho will have to deal with this setback during the team's first game after the coronavirus break against Manchester United.

The coronavirus break brought out some solidarity stories that are worth mentioning, but unfortunately there are some stories we would prefer not to report.

Today's story is one of the latter, and it has to do with a Tottenham Hotspur player, who will have to sit out of the first game of the Premier League after the coronavirus pause after mocking an Asian man and making a reference about the pandemic. FA officers have decided to hand the player a one-match ban due to his antics on Snapchat, even if the video was deemed as "not racist".

The player in question is Dele Alli, who had been key for the North London side all season long. Added to the one-match ban, Alli will also have to pay a £500,000 fine (around $630,000).

The player has already apologized for his actions, but the English FA decided to ban the player for "a poorly judged attempt at a humorous joke," the press release stated.

After completing an education course, Alli will be able to go back on the pitch with Mourinho's men, currently ranked eighth in the English top-flight.
