Bayern Munich have unveiled their home kit for the 2020/21 season. Breaking away from tradition, the new jersey will not be making its debut in the final game of the Bundesliga season but will instead be worn for the very first time in Wednesday's DFB Pokal semi-final clash with Frankfurt.
Adidas, who are the Bundesliga giants' kit manufacturers, produced a simplistic yet beautiful design which pays homage to die Roten's more classic looks. In typical Adidas fashion, Bayern's latest home jersey is a collar-less red shirt which is complemented by a white trim around the neckline and at the edges of the short sleeves.
The goalkeepers will be sporting a "blue and green ensemble" while the outfield players will wear red shorts and socks in home game. The all-red design is flavored with subtle white stripes down the body of the home shirt.

"The simple design features Bayern's classic colors of red and white, and promotes the club's core values," an official statement regarding the kit release stated.
"The familiar look combines the record champions' sense of tradition with the bond within the entire FC Bayern family. Stripe details worked into the fabric give the red shirt a high-quality look, while fine white edges on the collar and sleeves complement the design.
"A special feature is the club motto of "Mia san mia" woven into the neck. Red shorts and socks complete the home kit, while the goalkeepers have a blue and green ensemble."

Lewandowski will be hoping for a good result in their first match in this home jersey. The German top-flight leaders will be taking on Frankfurt in the DFB Pokal semi-finals, with the aim being to book a ticket to the final where they would face Bayer Leverkusen.
