BVB players set personal milestones in Revierderby

Two Dortmund players set personal records in 4-0 Revierderby win

May 16, 2020 By Oscar Rojas
The black and yellow side is now only one point behind Bayern München in the Bundesliga's title race.

Bundesliga is back with a bang, and two Borussia Dortmund players managed to show the world how they kept in shape during the two-month hiatus from professional football.

The game between the Black and Yellow and Schalke 04 saw Erling Haaland scoring the first Bundesliga goal after the coronavirus pause, but it also gave fans the chance to watch Raphael Guerreiro scoring the first brace in the league following the two-month break. Both of them had help in scoring those goals from Julian Brandt, as the German footballer handed both men an assist for their milestone-setting goals.

With their performances today, Guerreiro and Brandt managed to establish a new standard for their performances wearing a Borussia Dortmund jersey, as these stats show.

Borussia Dortmund has reignited the fight for the title in the Bundesliga, as they will sleep one point behind Bayern München. Will Die Roten re-establish their four-point lead in the league? Keep track of that and all Bundesliga games from now on by checking out our dedicated Bundesliga website.
