Barcelona head into this game on the back of their Clasico defeat. The Catalan giants lost 2-0 in their trip to Real Madrid and have fallen back to second spot, sitting a point behind Los Blancos. This means the Blaugrana are now winless in their last two games, drawing 1-1 with Napoli in the Champions League in the match before. In their last 12 games, Messi and Co. have lost four times (W7, D1).

Team news

Suarez and Dembele are injured, but this is no breaking news. The Uruguayan and Frenchman has been joined on the sidelines by another key first-team player and that is Arthur.

The Brazilian has picked up an ankle injury, as confirmed by the Catalan giants, and could be set for three weeks out. Sergi Roberto, meanwhile, is yet to return to the squad.

Fati could return to the lineup while there are calls for Messi to be rested, with many believing he is playing through the pain after appearing to limp while arriving at the Bernabeu last weekend. The odds of that occurring appear low, however.

As for the visitors, they remain without the services of Illarramendi and Llorente, who are both injured. Isak is tipped to return to the lineup on Saturday.
