The striker has been linked with many Europeran teams, but his father has already named the league he'd like to see his son playing in.

Erling Braut Haaland's future will be one of the most discussed topics in the world of football in the next few months, and his father has dropped a massive hint on where and how the footballer could continue his playing career.

Speaking in an interview with Spanish newspaper As, the player's father and agent admitted that his son is not considering a move away from Borussia Dortmund soon, but the possibility of watching him play in La Liga is there.

"We are thinking only about Borussia Dortmund. We were linked to up to 100 clubs, but one thing is true: the Spanish league would be a good step for my boy, with great teams. You never know what's going to happen, and if he ends up joining a Spanish side, so be it," Haaland Sr. said.

Haaland had been linked with a move to Manchester United during the winter, but now, Real Madrid seems to be the striker's preferred destination. With that in mind, his father has already come clean about his immediate wish before someone triggers his buyout clause with Dortmund.

"I'm really happy for him and for Dortmund. They told us that they needed someone like him to help them reach their goals. This is a team that's fighting to win the Bundesliga and they are growing in international competitions. Borussia Dortmund is perfect for him to keep growing," Haaland added.

The Norwegian ace could leave Dortmund in the winter of 2021 if some team out there wants to spend over $75M in his services. Haaland has scored 40 goals in 31 apps this season, and his chances of winning the Golden Boot are still there, especially if he can keep up the good work with Dortmund until the end of the season.
