The French footballer will be playing with Les Parisiens for quite some time if things go as planned by owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi

Florentino Pérez might want to put an end to Real Madrid's interest in luring Kylian Mbappé away from Parc Des Princes, as PSG is ready to hand Los Blancos' hopes of signing the player a massive blow.

According to a report by Paris United website, a source closely related to those in charge of the team's destiny, team owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has made Mbappé's contract extension his main priority during the rest of the season, even if that means the club needs to let Neymar leave this summer.

According to the aforementioned website, the club's main man wants to keep Mbappé around at least until the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and he is planning to offer Mbappé the largest contract in club history. In fact, Mbappé has been named by the source as the only PSG player that will not leave the club during the summer.

Al-Khelaifi wants the footballer to feel PSG's love towards him, and he is willing to build the team around his name. With that in mind, the possibility of watching Neymar leave would increase, since PSG couldn't afford to pay both men the same amount of money.

Now, the ball is on Mbappé's corner. The website states that the player's parents are satisfied with the team's offer, but the striker will have the final word on this matter. Nonetheless, Mbappé's relationship with the club and its fans is not what it used to be, and the team's latest decision regarding his involvement in the 2020 Summer Olympics could play a key role in his decision.
