The Red Devils missed out on the Moroccan after shifting their focus to three other players whom they are now targetting.

Man United's interest in Chelsea-bound Hakim Ziyech was no secret but according to the Evening Standard, the Red Devils gave up on the Moroccan ace in search of alternatives.

The report states that the Manchester giants gave up on the 26-year-old, who will join the Blues for $43M this summer. Instead, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is targeting three other players, with one man on that list being their biggest target.

That man is none other than Jadon Sancho. The Dortmund star has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford, for the Premier League heavyweights eager to acquire his services, but failed to land him last summer.

His German employers were not keen on selling but things have reportedly changed, with both the team and the player being open to a move. Sancho, who will cost in excess of $130M, is sought after by several European giants but the Red Devils are confident of beating the competition to his signature.

He would smash the club transfer-record spent on Paul Pogba and would solve the team's need for both a creative and goalscoring winger. He is not the only name on Man United's wish list as the 20-time Premier League champions look to sign two domestic talents.

They are Jack Grealish and James Maddison. Both men have impressed this season, with the Aston Villa man being their shining light despite being in the midst of a relegation battle. As for the Leicester midfielder, he would offer much-needed creativity in the middle of the park but it remains to be seen whether his employers would sanction his sale to Man United.
