The United States Women’s National Team aims to keep adding wins to its 18-game streak before Tokyo 2020. But in order to keep that win streak alive, the U.S. will need to be flawless in the SheBelieves Cup and upcoming high-profile friendlies ahead of the Olympic Games.

The Westfield Matildas will travel to Utah on April 10, 2020, to take on the Stars and Stripes at the Rio Tinto Stadium – home of the Real Salt Lake – in Sandy, Utah. As for the second fixture, it will take place in Australia in November 2021. More information about the second leg is due course.

After playing Australia, the Americans will travel to Northern California to face Brazil at the Earthquake Stadium – home of the San Jose Earthquakes – on April 14.

The USA is expected to play four more friendlies across June and July with those games to be announced in the future.

Who will the USWNT play against in the four unnanounced matches?

If we take a look back at the USWNT preparations for the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2019, we can probably have a better idea of who the Americans will face in the unannounced matches.

The USA played preparation friendlies against Australia, Belgium, New Zealand, Mexico and South Africa before France 2019.

Each one of those teams belongs to a different confederation - Australia (AFC), Belgium (UEFA), New Zealand (OFC), Mexico (CONCACAF) and South Africa (CAF). This means that the U.S. is not necessarily looking to square off against the toughest teams, but is more keen to face a mix of teams from around the world.

Expect the U.S. to play a tough European side, most likely a top-10 FIFA/Coca-Cola Ranking team, and three teams from three other continents.
