The Argentine boss recently admitted that he would love to coach in the Premier League, with everything pointing at an Old Trafford move.

Could Mauricio Pochettino be preparing to take over the Man United job? Fans could be forgiven for thinking this after the Argentine tactician was seen with Ed Woodward's advisor.

The Argentine boss has been out of work since being sacked at Tottenham and has been heavily linked with the Red Devils job ever since. On Tuesday night, he was spotted with Neil Ashton, the PR manager of the executive vice-chairman Woodward, at Griffin Park.

The pair were there for the second half of Brentford's draw with Leeds, pouring more fuel on the claims Pochettino will be replacing Solskjaer soon. While the club continues to back the Norwegian boss publicly, pressure continues to mount on Ole.

Man United are in the midst of a top-four battle but trail fourth-placed Chelsea by six points and are in huge danger of missing out on the Champions League. Furthermore, despite beating the likes of Man City, Chelsea, and Tottenham this season and being the only team to pick up a point against Liverpool; the Red Devils' style of play hasn't been the best this season.

Pochettino has long been linked with the Old Trafford job and after being relieved of his duties in north London, he was bound to emerge as a target for the 20-time Premier League champions.

Furthermore, the Argentine recently admitted that he would relish the opportunity to coach another team in the English top-flight. "To be honest, I would love to work in the Premier League. It's going to be difficult, I know, and for now it's a moment to wait and we'll see what happens," were the Argentine's words, which will have Man Utd fans even more excited.
