The Reds have shown impressive form despite the number of injuries sustained by key players, but Klopp may have a full squad to choose from against Los Colchoneros.

Good news for Liverpool's hopes of winning back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles, as one of their top guns will be back in time to play for the Reds in their first KO clash of the competition.

According to reports from earlier today, Senegalese footballer Sadio Mané will be fit to play next week against Atlético Madrid, which means that the powerful attack conformed by Mané, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah will be around to try and defeat Simeone's ailing side.

The Senegalese player came down with a muscular injury during the game against Wolverhampton, and while even coach Jurgen Klopp estimated that the African star would be out for more weeks, the recent time off spent by Mané helped him make it back in time to make the trip to Madrid.

But the good news don't stop there for Liverpool, as James Milner has also been involved in Monday's training session, which will also make him available to play the first leg against Los Colchoneros.

The Senegalese footballer has been involved in 20 goals for Liverpool this season in all comps. He has scored two goals and handed out one assist for the Reds in six UCL games (five as a starter), and his contribution could be key to see Liverpool reach the next stages of the continental competition.
