The Italian boss has many doubters among the Bianconeri board, according to reports.

According to reports coming out of Italy, Juventus are already pondering a managerial change, with the Italian giants once again losing the lead to Inter Milan in Serie A.

The Bianconeri recently lost 2-1 to Hellas Verona despite going 1-0 ahead thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s record-breaking form in front of goal. They slumped to their third defeat this season and while they only trail Inter Milan on goal difference, that result has cast doubt on the former Chelsea boss’ future.

According to La Repubblica (as per Football Italia), members among the Old Lady higher-ups want Sarri sacked and Allegri reinstated as the manager. Furthermore, they add that even Juventus president Andrea Agnelli is not convinced by their current gaffer.

Maurizio was brought in to succeed Max in order to establish a possession-dominated style, one that Napoli thrived under during the 61-year-old’s reign at the San Paolo Stadium. Additionally, Juventus were looking to go from the kings of Italy to the conquerors of Europe, with the major objective being winning the Champions League.

However, the football under Sarri has not been impressive and many doubt whether they can even successfully defend their Scudetto title. Allegri, who had been linked with the likes of Man United, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, and even Barcelona; remains a free agent and could assume the coaching role at the Allianz Stadium at any time. It will be interesting to see if there is any truth to these reports.
