Liga MX - Clausura 2020, Matchday 4 broadcast info

Liga MX - Team news and key games in Matchday 4 of the Clausura 2020 tournament

January 30, 2020 By Oscar Rojas
Pumas leads the pack after three weeks, but Querétaro and León are following their lead closely. Full broadcast info with our detailed guide.

We get to the first quarter of the Clausura 2020 tournament, and the pressure seems to be piling up on all the teams. Some of them have even decided to fire their bosses due to their poor results, and we've only seen three games this season!

Speaking of which, Atlas was the team that decided to fire Leandro Cufré, since the team has failed to live up to the expectations both in the league and in Copa MX action. This forced Atlas' execs to fire the Argentine, who never seemed to get the idea of what Los Rojinegros needed.

And now, back to the games. This weekend, Guadalajara will try to go back to winning ways when they clash against San Luis. Elsewhere, América will host Juárez in a game that could be more complicated than initially thought. Necaxa will begin a string of three games by hosting Puebla, while Santos and Pumas will lock horns for the second time this week in what could very well be a turning point for the league leaders.

Matchday 4 will begin on Friday with two games, but things will really get in motion on Saturday evening, with six games taking place that day.

Here's the full schedule for this weekend's games in the Mexican top-flight.

Monterrey vs Queretaro

The champions have not enjoyed the best start of the season, and they will be facing a team that has given them quite a few headaches in the past. Querétaro is the third-best team this season, and after two wins in a row, it seems that Mohamed's men will need more than a smile to beat Los Gallos. Will home-field advantage give Monterrey the edge to win their first match of the tournament?

Toluca vs Cruz Azul

This game used to be one of the most anticipated when the calendar was unveiled year after year. Now, both teams seem to be living a transition period, which might give fans an interesting clash nonetheless. Toluca, led by former El Tri boss José Manuel de la Torre seems to be en route to finding their best form, while the always eager Cruz Azul will try to silence their critics. Either way, and even if these teams are not in their best shape, this is a match you should pay attention to.
