What is the form of Barcelona compared to Leganes?

Barcelona head into this tie on the back of a disappointing result at Valencia, losing 2-0 at their formidable La Mestalla stadium. That result means the Blaugrana have now lost the lead in La Liga to Real Madrid, who now sit three points ahead of the Catalan giants. In their five games in 2020, the Blaugrana have failed to win three (D1, L2) but those remain their only two defeats in their last 16 matches in all competitions (W10, D4).

Leganes, meanwhile, have suffered only one defeat since the turn of the decade, winning twice and drawing twice in those six games. However, they boast only five wins in their last 15 matches in all competitions, losing five and drawing four.

Setien suffered his first defeat at Barcelona in the trip to Valencia and will be keen on avoiding a similar disappointment against Leganes. The Blaugrana are still without the services of Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele, but the latter is nearing a return.

It remains to be seen whether the Catalan giants will name a strong XI for this clash. Neto is a doubt for this tie so it will be interesting to see who will start in goal for the Blaugrana.

As for the away side, they will be without Alexander Szymanowski who is out with a ligament injury. Dimitris Siovas, meanwhile, remains sidelined as he is recovering from a knee injury.
