The Brazilian will wait until the end of the season to make a decision but the attacker is reportedly ready to stay in Paris.

After Neymar’s failed summer exit, many believed the PSG superstar to be biding his time until the next opportunity to jump ships. However, according to a recent report, the Brazilian ace has had a change in heart.

According to ESPN (as per the Sun), Neymar is open to extending his contract at the Parc des Princes. The 27-year-old appeared to have burnt all bridges with the board and the fans after attempting to force an exit during the summer transfer window but feels settled now and has a sense of belonging at the club and in the city.

An extension, however, hinges on one thing: how the club performs in the Champions League. While Neymar has enjoyed tremendous domestic success, it is their failure to win the Champions League that played a huge role in his attempts to leave.

As a result, a decision over a new deal will have to wait until April or May. The Ligue 1 champions are confident of tying him down with an extension but the attacker will wait to see how the season pans out.

If true, this will come as a huge blow to Barcelona. Despite signing Griezmann over the summer, the Catalan giants were reportedly still keen on bringing Neymar back to Camp Nou. Real Madrid were also rumored to be interested in the Brazilian.
