The Italian agent left no stone unturned in a recent interview, and Pogba's future was at the top of his list of topics.

Italian agent Mino Raiola discussed a variety of topics in a sitdown with newspaper La Reppublica, and he used the space to blast Manchester United for keeping Paul Pogba around apparently against his will.

The agent, who also controls the playing careers of Mario Balotelli, Erling Braut Haaland and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, questioned Manchester United's motives to keep Pogba at Old Trafford, even if they have not shown how they want to turn things around.

"Pogba's problem is Manchester United. It's a club that's completely out of its mind, they have no steady project for the future. They will ruin anyone that goes there. They'd manage to ruin Maradona, Pelé or Maldini," Raiola said.

The Italian agent revealed how he got into heated debates with Sir Alex Ferguson over the player's future at Old Trafford, and how he'd love his client to leave the Premier League as soon as possible.

"I fought with Ferguson over Pogba. He's the only coach ever to say no to him. He never liked Paul. Now, Paul needs a team that can work for him. For example, the first Juventus team he played for," Raiola added.

The agent's relationship with the club's hierarchy is bittersweet to say the least, following the transfers of Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In fact, his complicated relationship with Ed Woodward is believed to be the main reason why Erling Braut Haaland did not end up joining the Red Devils this winter.
