The Frenchman reportedly wants out of Old Trafford and could be headed back to Turin in January.

Despite already boasting a stacked midfield, Juventus are reportedly eager to re-sign Paul Pogba. The Frenchman won four consecutive Scudetto titles and could be set for a second spell in Serie A amid rumors of a Man United exit.

And according to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri have made a breakthrough in their mission to bring him back to Turin as early as this January. The Italian news outlet claims that the Old Lady are aware of what would be enough to bring him to Italy and that would be a $66.4M-plus-Emre-Can offer.

The Red Devils have been without Pogba for the most of the current campaign and with the rise of McTominay, the club might consider cashing in on the World Cup winner. The midfielder reportedly wants out of Old Trafford, which is no surprise given his desire to join Real Madrid over the summer.

Solskjaer continues to insist that their record signing will not be sold in January. However, the player only has 18 months left on his current deal, meaning his price will only decrease with time if Pogba refuses to sign an extension.

The 26-year-old returned to action over the weekend after a three-month layoff but that did little to help Man United as they lost 2-0 to Watford. When Pogba re-signed for the Red Devils, they were a team promising to return to the top of English football. Fast forward to today and the 20-time Premier League champions continue to lurk in mediocrity.

Boxing Day is upon us and it will be interesting to see whether Pogba can put his injury struggles and uncertain future to the side to help the team during the festive period. The Red Devils will host Newcastle before traveling to Burnley and Arsenal between now and New Year's Day, meaning the club will need the Frenchman performing at his best.
