Necaxa and América will have the upper hand when they try to reach the title match next weekend.

The Quarter final stage of the Apertura 2019 tournament is over, and with the four top-seeded teams out of the race, it will be up to the underdogs to determine who will be crowned as champions.

Necaxa and América are now the top-seeded clubs out of the four remaining teams in the competition, and starting on Wednesday, both sides will be hosting the decisive games of each tie at their own stadium. Hence, it will be up to Monterrey and Morelia to shockingly reach the final.

In order to avoid both ties to overlap, Liga MX officers decided to have one semi-final game played per day. Here's how all matches have been programmed.

Wednesday, December 4: Monterrey (4) vs Necaxa (1) - 21:05 hrs, BBVA Stadium.

Thursday, December 5: Morelia (3) vs América (2) - 20:30 hrs, Morelos Stadium.

Saturday, December 7: Necaxa vs Monterrey - 20:30 hrs, Victoria Stadium.

Sunday, December 8: América vs Morelia - 18:30 hrs, Azteca Stadium.

If Monterrey reaches the title match, the tournament will enter a waiting period of 18 days, since Liga MX officers decided to postpone the clash to allow them to play the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup.
