According to a report by la Gazzetta dello Sport, both European giants have set their sights on one more transfer to boost their squads this season, even if that means they need to splash the cash to sign one footballer away from Juventus.
That man is none other than 22-year-old Rodrigo Bentancur, who has even been compared to Paul Pogba due to his prowess with the bianconeri. The Italian newspaper suggests that any team that wants to attempt his signing will have to come up with at least 50 million euros (around $55M), but there seems to be an added bonus for one of these teams in their intentions to sign the Uruguayan.
The Italian newspaper reveals that Pep Guardiola's side can offer Bentancur a better deal, and added to that, there is no overbooking in the team's midfield due to their recent transfer activity. Guardiola has apparently set his sights on Bentancur due to his ability to play different midfield positions, something that will come in handy for the player if he is searching for more playing time.
