The Reds rank as the highest-earning football club on YouTube.

Reigning UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool are the highest-earning football club on YouTube, a new study has shown. The club from Merseyside makes over $7.8 million annually from the online video site, making their channel more lucrative than winning both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup together.

With the love for football constantly growing, it still ranks among the most-searched for topics on Youtube. Justifiably so, the biggest names in the sport keep earning massive revenue with the interest of fans in the day-to-day affairs of their favorite stars peaking.

In essence, Liverpool's year-in-review has been overtly enviable having made a back-to-back appearance in the Champions League Final while winning the title this time around. After finishing last season's Premier League as runners-up with a record 97-point, the Reds are now back atop the charts with a six-point gap after 10 matches.

The spotlight is undoubtedly on Jurgen Klopp's army and, as a result, its economic implications cannot be overemphasized. According to the data compiled by football tickets site livefootballtickets.com, the Merseysiders - who have 3.2 million subscribers on YouTube - lead Barcelona and Manchester City in highest-earning YouTube channels.

The Reds amass a little over $650,000 every month as compared to the $415,552 and $222,689 made respectively by the two aforementioned clubs. With the winners of the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup respectively earning about $260,000 and $4.6 million in cash-prizes, Liverpool momentarily earns at least $2.9 million than both winners combined.

In an all-inclusive list, Sky Sports Football ranks atop the revenue leaderboard with over £1m a month made from YouTube every month. The F2 Freestylers completes the top two with $716,157.
