Fans around the world were baffled to find out about the decision to postpone El Clásico, but that does not mean that there is nothing to talk about when it comes to the Spanish top-flight.
One of this year's most interesting surprises is the presence of Granada in La Liga. The team coached by Diego Martínez has not slowed down in their attempt to make an impact in the 2019-20 season, and they managed to claim the top spot in La Liga for the first time this century with their win against Betis. Yes, we know that if Barcelona and Real Madrid would have played and won we wouldn't be talking about this, but these are the facts right now, and we have to accept them.

Four teams are now tied at 19 points apiece; Barcelona, Real Sociedad, Atlético Madrid and Sevilla. The last three teams won their games this week, and speaking specifically about Atlético, their win had Jan Oblak as one of the standout players for Simeone.

Elsewhere, Sevilla managed to beat Getafe with goals by Chicharito and Ocampos. This was quite a coincidental match for the Mexican striker, as he scored his eighth La Liga goal -and first in that competition with Sevilla- against the last team he had scored against while playing for Real Madrid.
