The Special One is still looking for a job, but he has already made up his mind on where he wants to continue coaching.

Jose Mourinho's future -or lack there of- in the world of football keeps making headlines, and this time, Olympique Lyon's president Jean-Michel Aulas gave an update on where the Portuguese boss will continue with his coaching career.

Speaking in a press conference where he discussed the team's future after sackinh Sylvinho, Aulas admitted that Mourinho and himself exchanged text messages to discuss a work offer, but Mourinho refused to meet with Aulas since he has already decided where he will be working next.

"We had quite a flattering conversation via SMS. It was really gratifying for us. Unfortunately, he turned down the chance to get together, because he has already chosen a new team," Aulas said, without disclosing where the Portuguese boss will return to work.

Mourinho is reportedly interested in returning to the Premier League, where Arsenal and Tottenham have been named as his potential destinations. The Portuguese tactician is not interested at the moment in taking a coaching gig away from England, since his family lives in London and it would be a logistics nightmare to move elsewhere before the winter.

The former Manchester United boss has turned down offers from Benfica and Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande, since he is waiting for "the right moment" to return to the dugout.

As for Lyon, who will have to search for a new boss after Sylvinho's 141-day stint, president Jean-Michel Aulas will hold meetings with Patrick Vieira and Laurent Blanc to offer them the coaching spot. The white and blue side is currently 14th in the 2019-20 Ligue 1 season, with only nine points after nine games and currently on a five-match streak without a loss.
