The player's candid interview with RAC1 gave fans different talking points, with this one being one of the most controversial.

His goal against Liverpool, that time when he toyed with Athletic's defense, or his semi-final golazo against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League are some of the moments that have earned Lionel Messi the most praise throughout his career. But today, in an interview with RAC1, the Argentine ace chose which goal he considers to be his best of all time, and surprisingly, it is none of those mentioned above.

The footballer decided to go with a goal scored on his first UEFA Champions League final, which ended up sealing the deal for the first Blaugrana treble. The rival was Manchester United, and his goal sealed a 2-0 win for Pep Guardiola's men.

"That goal I scored in Roma, that header, which gave us the Champions. It's the best one," Messi said.
