The Red Devils are exploring all available options to make the decision if the Norwegian boss can't turn things around in the immediate future.

Even if Manchester United execs try to deny it, sources close to the team have revealed their immediate plans if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can't turn things around in the next few games,

According to sources speaking to the Mirror, the Norwegian boss may have one or two chances to get the team back on track, or he will end up leaving the club.

The aforementioned newspaper revealed that Solskjaer will be handed a $8.5M layoff payment if the club gives him the boot, which is nowhere near the amount they paid when they decided to sack José Mourinho.

Back in December 2018, Mourinho was handed a $24M layoff payment, but even if Solskjaer's start was impressive, he has failed to live up to the initial hype and has led Manchester United to their worst start of a season in 30 years. Now, the former striker seems to be living his final moments with the club where he won the treble in 1999.
