The Blaugrana side had already ruled Lonel Messi and Jordi Alba out, but the team's medical staff will have more work this weekend.

Barcelona might find it a bit hard to end their current hoodoo away from home, considering that one of their best players this season will not be around to play this weekend.

Right after today's press conference, Barcelona revealed the squad that will be making the trip to face Getafe. While the absences of Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba and Samuel Umtiti were expected due to their respective injuries, Los Culés had to add their rookie sensation Ansu Fati to that list, as the teenager has picked up a knee injury, which will be assessed next week to determine his availability.

The 16-year-old footballer has scored two goals for Los Culés this season and is seen by many as one of the best news in Barcelona's dismal start of the season. The player may also miss next week's UEFA Champions League clash against Inter, deepening the team's injury crisis.

Here's Barcelona's squad for their trip to Madrid.

This development could see coach Ernesto Valverde changing his tactics to boost his midfield, since Ousmané Dembelé, the player that should take over for Fati, is also recovering from an injury. Barcelona is yet to win a game away from Camp Nou this season, and this new setback could give Valverde one big headache ahead of their clash against Getafe.
