Preview: Juventus vs SPAL
Juventus will look to try to overtake Inter as they host floundering SPAL on matchday six. Although the Bianconeri haven't lost a single Serie A game so far, a frustrating stalemate against Fiorentina earlier this season caused them to drop two valuable points and that has left them looking up at the Nerazzurri, who so far have picked up a perfect 15 points from their first five games.
Next up on the menu for the Bianconeri is a home tie with Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, and Maurizio Sarri will be desperate for his team to pick up all three points there after watching his team throw away a 2-0 lead against Atletico. With that in mind, he'll likely rest some key players to the best of his abilities here against SPAL, especially considering that the visitors have won just one game so far this season.
Despite beating Lazio on matchday three, SPAL come into this game in lousy form, having lost to the likes of Sassuolo (3-0) and Lecce (3-1). That doesn't make for good reading ahead of their visit to La Vecchia Signora's home ground. Last season, they finished in a respectable 13th spot with Senegalese shot-stopper Alfred Gomis between the posts, but now he's since departed, and they have struggled to find the same kind of balance since.
