However, there is no good news on Rashford.

Things have not been going well for Man United recently, with poor form and injuries contributing to their current crisis. Fortunately for the Red Devils, one star player will return in time for their crucial clash with Arsenal next week.

That man is none other than Paul Pogba, the club’s record signing. The midfielder, who was heavily sought after by Real Madrid, has been out of action since the 1-1 draw with Southampton in late August.

An ankle injury is to blame for his absence, subsequently sitting out France’s Euro 2020 qualifiers during the recent international break. Fans will be glad to see him return, with Ole announcing that he could even get a few minutes in their Carabao Cup clash with Rochdale on Wednesday.

“He'll probably get some minutes against Rochdale,” Solskjaer told Man United’s official website. “But we definitely think he’s ready for Arsenal.”

The Red Devils won their following two games after Pogba’s injury but lost 2-0 to West Ham in the Premier League over the weekend to take their tally to two wins, two draws, and two defeats from their opening six games.

The Frenchman’s return comes ahead of a busy schedule. Their third-round Carabao Cup clash is one of three games the 20-time Premier League champions will play in eight days, with Man United taking on Arsenal and then AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League afterward.

There was no good news regarding Rashford, however. The Englishman picked up a groin injury and while the jury is out on how long he will be sidelined, Solskjaer confirmed he will play no part in Monday’s clash with Arsenal. This is a particular worry as Anthony Martial, the club’s other striker, is yet to return from injury.
