France come into this game after easily brushing minnows Albania, although Albanians will be a bit more upset than seeing their side humiliated 4-1. Before the game, there was an awkward mix-up when the Andorra national anthem was played instead of the Albanian one - perhaps the match organizers were already thinking ahead to this match! To complicate things further, the stadium announcer upset the traveling contingent even more by apologising to Armenia as opposed to Albania before getting things sorted out, thus delaying kick-off for at least 10 minutes.
Uncomfortable mix-ups aside, France dominated the game from start to finish as expected, and will be expected to cruise to another very easy three points when bottom-ranked Andorra arrive on matchday six. Their opponents have yet to score a goal, let alone pick up a single point from five matchdays thus far and have the second worst-defensive record in this group, with only Moldova faring worse. With Turkey refusing to give up and continuing to nip at their heels, and with Iceland also determined to keep their name in the mix, this is a great opportunity for France to pick an easy three points as certainly Turkey and Iceland will likely do the same in their respective fixtures as well.
France will again be missing several notable players for this match. Up front, there's no Kylian Mbappe after the young striker suffered an injury featuring for PSG. Meanwhile, in midfield, Paul Pogba has now withdrawn from the squad, which also leaves a huge hole in the middle of the park as Chelsea star N'Golo Kante is also out. And in defense, Manchester City's Aymeric Laporte is also out.
In the USA, France vs Andorra will be shown on TUDN En Vivo and ESPN+.
