The bianconeri added Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot on free deals this summer, but it seems there might be more for them to come.

Juventus has made a habit out of signing players on free transfers. They did so with Emre Can, Adrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey, and even Gianluigi Buffon this summer. Now, they have set their sights on two Premier League footballers who will see their current deals expire by the end of the season, and they play for the same English side: Tottenham Hotspur.

Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld had been linked with big-money moves to Manchester United and, in the Danish ace's case, Real Madrid. With none of these deals taking place, Juventus seem to have stepped up their pursuit to sign the footballers.

According to the Daily Mail, bianconeri execs have held conversations with the players' agents in order to secure a deal. In fact, Alderweireld could very well become Giorgio Chiellini's long-term replacement with the Italian champs, following the center back's injury after the first game of the season.

The report suggests that signing Eriksen might be a bit more difficult for Juve, since the player is still being tempted by both Real Madrid and Manchester United. While both clubs are aware about the possibility of signing the midfielder on a free next summer, both would be willing to enter low-cost bids to secure Eriksen's signing in January.

While there is no clear indication on where both players will end up, it seems that Tottenham fans will have to bid farewell to the midfielder and the defender sooner than expected.
