Zinedine Zidane will have almost every one of his top guns for the European competition.

Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League squad has been published, and it has some major talking points for fans and experts to discuss.

Coach Zinedine Zidane decided to include two goalkeepers on his roster, leaving youngster Altube as the third option in Los Blancos' "B" team.

The French tactician did include outcasts such as James Rodríguez and Mariano, who have been labeled as surplus to the team's requirements for quite a bit. What really stands out is that no player was called up to replace Marco Asensio, who is not featured on neither one of the lists handed in by Real Madrid.

Asensio will miss most of the season due to an ACL injury, but in case he can make it back in time for the knockout stages, Zidane could consider including him in the roster.

Here is Real Madrid's squad for the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League.

Defenders: Carvajal (2), Militao (3), Sergio Ramos (4), Varane (5), Nacho (6), Marcelo (12), Odriozola (19), Mendy (23).
