The second weekend of games in La Liga left several talking points for fans to discuss, especially when they have a look at the top spots of the table.
Barcelona fans can rest easy, even without Messi or Luis Suárez. Their emphatic 5-2 win against Betis erased all doubts surrounding their disappointing start of the season, especially thanks to a stellar performance by Antoine Griezmann.
Real Madrid was not able to make it two-for-two in La Liga, following their draw against Valladolid. Zidane's men did not have a proper end of the 2018-19 season at home, and their recent game urges the French boss to make some changes if he wants to turn things around.
Sevilla and Atlético are the only teams that have won their two games, which gives them the top spot in La Liga's standings.

Speaking about Barcelona's win, there were a number of interesting topics emerging from that game. First off, Antoine Griezmann led Barcelona's come from behind win by becoming the first player in this century to make his debut as a Blaugrana with a brace in front of his new supporters, as per Opta. Added to that, he ended a personal jinx when playing at Camp Nou.

There was another major milestone achieved during that game, as Gerard Piqué joined an elite club for Los Culés with his appearance in the team's lineup.

Remember what you were doing when you were 16? Well, Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati surely has a better story!

Speaking about Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane's men had everything in their hands to claim their second win of the season, but Sergi Guardiola equalized the game with less than one minute left in regulation to steal a point away from the Bernabeu. Los Pucelanos had not been able to draw a single game in that venue since 2001, ending an 18-year-streak without winning an away point against Los Blancos.
The other highlight of the game came when James Rodríguez played his first game for Los Blancos before leaving on loan to join Bayern. It had been quite a while for the footballer!
